Use our Lifetime Mortgage Calculator to get a quick idea of how much you might be able to borrow against your home.
You don’t need to enter any personal details, and we won’t contact you unless you ask us to by completing our Contact Us form.
Simply enter your age (or the youngest age if there are two of you) and your estimated property value. The calculator will then show an approximate maximum loan based on your age.
Please remember, these figures are for guidance only and are not guaranteed. The actual amount available will depend on your personal circumstances, the lender’s criteria, and the results of a formal property valuation.

If you have a serious or life-limiting medical condition, you may be able to borrow more depending on the nature and severity of your illness.
It’s also worth noting that borrowing less than the maximum could mean a lower interest rate, so it’s usually best to release only what you really need.
For tailored advice and accurate figures based on your situation, please get in touch with Andy Wilson. We’ll happily explain your options in plain English and without any pressure.

Still have some questions? Here are a selection of questions our clients often ask about Equity Release.
Get In TouchYes. You stay the full legal owner of your home, and you can live there for life under the Equity Release Council safeguards. You will simply have a mortgage secured on the home, like anyone else with a mortgage.
Possibly. Releasing money may affect benefits such as Pension Credit or Council Tax Support. Andy will always check this with you beforehand and explain exactly what might change.
A lifetime mortgage is a loan secured on your home - you keep full ownership. A home reversion involves selling all or part of your property to a provider in exchange for money, but you receive far less than the value of the part you sell. We are only authorised to advise on lifetime mortgages.
A lifetime mortgage lets you release money from your home while still owning it. The loan usually isn’t repaid until you die or move into long-term care. You can choose to make no monthly payments if you prefer, as any unpaid interest simply adds to the loan over time.
Your home will usually be sold, and the loan plus any interest is repaid from the sale proceeds. Anything left goes to your beneficiaries. However, if there are two of you on the plan, nothing is repaid until the last applicant dies or moves into care.
